Skoda has finally revealed the Fourth-Generation all new 2024 Skoda Superb liftback sedan and estate on November 2 in the global market. There is no official news of expected launched date in India, interested car buyers in India will have to wait to get their hands on this new launch.
The new Superb will have multiple power train options, which includes Diesel and hybrid option depending in the country. The Czech automaker is yet to provide full performance details provided by the engines. As per previous generation, 218hp Superb iV plug-in hybrid obtained 0-100kph run in 7.3 seconds, the newly launched 2024 Skoda Superb is expected to match the current performance.

The new Skoda Superb exterior looks more Solid and Modern than the previous generation. The Bold shoulder line and Sharp Angular LED Headlights setup changes are observed in the initial looks of the car. As per the technical specifications, the car is now 40mm longer and 10mm (dimensions may vary as per the body type) , but 15 mm narrow than the current version of sedan and estate. The boot space is increased by 20 litres in sedan and 30 litres in the estate.
Skoda has focused its importance in the aerodynamics of the car, the automaker claims a 10 percent reduction of in sedan and 15 percent in estate.
2024 Skoda Superb Interior Looks & Features
Inside the new Skoda Superb, there are some similarities from its sibling SUV Kodiaq, adopting smart dial controls and features on the dashboard with ambient lighting, which is used to set different functions as per the user. The two outer dials control the interior temperature and seat heating, the center dial can be used to control the Infotainment volume, fan-speed, zoom in and zoom out of the navigation.
There are Physical buttons at the steering wheel for important controls, such as window demisters and music volume settings. The center console of the dashboard features the 10-inch or 13-inch Infotainment system (Depending on the specs). Skoda stated that all the fabric materials used in the new Superb are 100 percent recycled material, making the car more sustainable.
The all new superb gets updated with features like Level 2 ADAS, 10 Airbags, parking assist, ABS with EBD, Traction Control, emergency assist functions that halts the car aside and activates call to emergency services
2024 Skoda Superb: Engine Specifications
The global engine lineup for the new Skoda Superb has been confirmed. The petrol lineup begins with a 150hp mild-hybrid 1.5-litre engine, while the 204hp and 265hp 2.0-litre engines. The two-wheel-drive diesel produces 150 horsepower, while the four-wheel-drive variant produces 193 horsepower. The top-of-the-line PHEV combines the entry-level 1.5-litre petrol engine with a single electric motor to provide 204hp at the front wheels. Skoda claims that the pure-electric motor is powered by a 25.7kWh pack that can be recharged at rates of up to 50kW (DC), allowing for a 10-80 percent charge in 25 minutes.
Our expected India launch will be in 2024 with local assembly at Skoda’s Aurangabad plant.
